Grand Parkway (SH 99), Southeast Texas



Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. is providing route studies, schematic designs, and General Engineering Consultant (GEC) services to the Grand Parkway Association for Segments E, F1, F2, and G of the Grand Parkway (SH 99) from IH 10 west to US 59 north (52 miles). Initially, alternative routes were prepared that were utilized in an analysis to determine a recommended route by the study team. Subsequently, Brown & Gay Engineers prepared diagrammatic schematic designs for the 52-mile recommended route. Brown & Gay Engineers has assisted with numerous public meetings and public hearings throughout the study area. Currently, detailed geometric schematics and ROW documents for Segment E (13 miles) are being prepared. In the GEC role, Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. will oversee the efforts of three section consultants as they prepare schematic designs and right-of-way documents for segments F1, F2, and G.
