Traffic Engineering:
Fort Bend Westpark Tollway, Fort Bend County, TX
Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. completed designs for the 6.2-mile long Fort Bend Westpark Tollway from the Grand Parkway (SH 99) to FM 1464. This design included three diamond traffic signals at Mason Road, Peek Road and Grand Mission Blvd. and a split diamond traffic signal at the Grand Parkway. The signal timings for these intersections were also developed and implemented. Continuous illumination along the main lanes, safety lighting at all intersections and ramps, and signing and striping were designed.
