Land Development: Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear, TX
Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. is responsible for the development of Cross Creek Ranch, a new 3,200-acre master-planned community located in Fulshear, Texas. Located west of Katy in the vicinity of the Westpark Tollway and Interstate 10, Cross Creek Ranch offers the benefits of small-town living as well as easy access to its neighboring metropolis, Houston. This multipurpose project is a residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
Development services include platting into various subdivisions; engineering design of all infrastructure; obtaining approvals from all municipal agencies and private utility companies; and contract administration which includes preparation of quantities, specifications, estimates, preparation and administration of multiple construction contracts, construction observations to determine compliance with bid documents, final inspection for acceptance, construction layout, and surveying.
Amenities include lakes, parks, landscaped green reserves, and multiple recreational centers with outdoor amphitheaters and swimming pools. Approximately 30 percent of the Cross Creek Ranch development will be constituted of parks, trails, and lakes, including the complete restoration of Flewellen Creek.
