401(k) Plan and Company Match
The Company provides both a Roth 401(k) and Traditional 401(k) Plan with a variety of investment options. The Company matches up to 4 percent 1:1 and full vesting in 5 years.

Paid Holidays
We observe 9 paid holidays per year.
Flextime Scheduling
Brown & Gay Engineers understands the importance of work/life balance for employees. The Company will offer flextime, when possible, to assist employees in meeting their personal work performance goals and family needs.
Compressed Work Week
Brown & Gay Engineers offers employees the option of participating in a 9/80 compressed work week, when possible, to further enhance work/life balance.
Personal Business Leave
Employees may occasionally make up time when they are absent from the job to handle personal business, without using vacation days or leave without pay. Four or less hours may be requested and made up within the week it is taken.
Medical
We offer two PPO options covering preventive care such as routine physicals, well-child exams and immunizations. Coverage also includes prescription drugs.
Dental
Our dental plan covers preventive, basic, and major treatments up to the plan limit.

Our vision plan covers vision exams, frame and contact lenses allowances every 12 months based on plan limits.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurances
We offer disability insurances in the event of illness or injury and you are unable to work for extended periods of time.
Life Insurance
We offer life insurance covering two times your salary or $100,000 with an option to purchase additional coverage.
125 Smart Plan
Brown & Gay Engineers' SMART Plan is a voluntary plan established under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code enabling you to reduce your income taxes by allowing you to pay your portion of the cost for eligible insurance premiums with pre-tax compensation dollars.
Flexible Spending Account
This allows you to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Brown & Gay Engineers has a corporate sponsorship with 24-Hour Fitness offering memberships without a long-term contractual obligation. Our Houston office has a workout facility on-site offering free access to employees.
Professional Society Dues
We advocate participation in professional societies and will pay society dues for one membership for professional employees.
Professional License
Renewal fees for PE, PTOE and RPLS licenses are paid by the Company in states in which we practice.
Professional Training
Utilizing resources from within the company and supplemental outside presenters, Brown & Gay Engineers is committed to the implementation of topic-specific in-house training. We have established a Training Committee with representatives from each department to monitor the training needs of the Company.
